May 1, 2019 – Sparkstone Capital Advisors, LLC (“Sparkstone”) is pleased to announce the addition of two experienced M&A professionals to its team. Clint Schexnayder and Dotun Awosemo joined the firm as a Senior Associate and Associate, respectively, and will be based in Houston, Texas.
Clint Schexnayder joins Sparkstone from Shamrock Energy Solutions, where he served as Assistant General Counsel. Shamrock was a Houma, Louisiana-based oilfield services company that was acquired by Danos, LLC in 2019. Clint was involved in all aspects of contract negotiation for the company and provided legal advice to senior management as needed. Clint is a graduate of Nicholls State University (BA), the Southern University Law Center (JD), and Tulane University (MBA).
Dotun Awosemo joins Sparkstone from LBC Energy Advisory, an energy-focused boutique investment bank based in London. Prior to that, Dotun held a number of geoscience positions in the oil and gas industry with companies such as Shell, Rock Solid Images, SIGMA3, and FRACGEO. A native of Nigeria, Dotun is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (BS), the University of Houston (MS), and the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester (MBA).
